Don't hesitate to apply.Job Summary:The Public Relations Specialist supports strategic initiatives to create and maintain a positive public image for a variety of clients that we support. Duties/ Responsibilities:Identify media opportunities for various clientsPromoting positive public awareness through external and internal PR campaignsWrite press releases and other PR copyPresent solutions in times of PR crisisActively research opportunities for clientsFormulating PR plans and strategiesManage media relations and requestsCreation of PR materialsResearch PR related opportunities Editing and proofreading communication that will be sent out to the publicAssisting/Managing the execution of PR projects and campaignsManaging PR materials and performing other clerical tasksDevelop and maintain a good relationship with the media industry and clientsUpload and publish press releasesManaging deadlines, calendars, and media listsMaintaining the PR database, documentation and track efforts and looking for ways to improve themRequired Skills/Abilities: Bachelor 's degree and/ 2+ years PR experience1+ years of marketing experience in a marketing agencyA high degree of professionalism with an ability to work effectively in a group settingExcellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with clients of various industriesExcellent knowledge of the English languageKnowledge of PR concepts and best practicesStrong drive to improve our PR effortsAttention to detailStaying up-to-date with current events and willing to identify opportunitiesVery good copywriting and editing skillsVery good social media experienceCreative approach Strong, independent work-ethicProficient in MS Office, Canva, Meltwater, Cision PR Web or similar servicesJoseph Studios is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
